Hello!
from the Rev. Dr. Patricia Sue Cashion
And welcome to the CBCC web site inviting you to worship with us each Sunday. We are a non-denominational congregation, inviting fellowship and membership to all who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Organized in 1957 with a rich history of serving both children and the elderly through Faith Missions, CBCC practices ecumenicity in worship and in service. Learn more about our history by using that choice on the left menu.
I came to CBCC in November, 2007 after serving churches for over 14 years in Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA; Ozark, AR; Fremont, OH; and Lawton, OK. I hold an art degree from Mercer University, GA; a Masters in Divinity and a Doctor in Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary, GA, with concentrations in preaching and pastoral care. My credentials are held by the PC (U.S.A.).
Opportunities of mission/ministry service have included trips to the Jamaican mountain villages and Kingston inner city, and a circle tour of China with the observance of the Hong Kong change from British rule to China’s governance. I have been the 1994 US representative to the World Council of Churches in Bosey, Switzerland during their conference on “Health and Healing for the World Today.” Currently, I attend the Florida Fellowship of Community Churches as CBCC holds membership in the International Council of Community Churches.
All this is to say we take our service to the Lord, to the community and to you – and everyone who comes our way – seriously! I hope you’ll visit us soon. Introduce yourself and let us know you found us on the worldwide web! God works in so many ways. May Crystal Beach community of believers be the place for you and yours! Remembering always…
Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abides faith, hope and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
I Corinthians 13:12, 13
Blessings! Pastor Susie
