A fresh coat of paint and a little sod completes the Annex. But, work in the kitchen and in Fellowship Hall continues.

The plumbing is nearing completion.


--- Jan 16 2008 ---
All drywall is up, all windows are installed, and all wiring (including low voltage) is completed.

The retaining walls and steps at the back door are built and the walls have been painted.


--- Dec 24 2008 ---
Stucco has been applied to the exterior walls and the facade.


--- Nov 13 2008 ---
The heating and air conditioning are being installed and will use this ductwork.


--- Oct 27 2008 ---
Interior stud walls are built and electrical wiring is done.


--- Oct 23 2008 ---
The new roof is covered and a facade is attached.


--- Oct 21 2008 ---
Roof trusses are placed on the concrete block walls.


--- Oct 19 2008 ---
The Sancuary and Fellowship Hall get repairs and new roofing.


--- Oct 14 2008 ---
The block walls are completed and contain steel bars to hold the roof to the foundation.


--- 11 Oct 2008 ---
Concrete block walls are going up. They'll go up quickly.


--- 08 Oct 2008 ---
The slab is poured and trowled smooth. The concrete contains fiberglass reinforcement instead of using wire mesh. Looks like they're also doing a bit of roof repair.


--- 04 Oct 2008 ---
The water and sewer lines are in place. So just cover the leveled fill with plastic and we're ready to pour concrete.

These two rows of block will serve as a form to contain the slab floor.

Footers are being prepared to support the concrete walls.


--- 18 Sep 2008 ---
The grubbing and clearing is complete and the site is being leveled. Old irrigation lines were removed and an active water supply line was damaged, but was quickly repaired. This work is in preparation of laying the concrete slab, which will be the foundation and floor of the new building.


--- 05 Sep 2008 ---
The environmental barrier is put up tp protect the neighborhood from all the construction mess.


--- 13 Jul 2008 ---
Pastor Susie Cashion breaks ground for the construction of our new building. Dignitaries present include Glenn Bergoffen, Honorary Mayor of Crystal Beach; Susan Latvala, County Commissioner of Pinellas County; and Claudette Otto, President of Crystal Beach Community Association.

And our intent to build is posted for all to see.


--- November 2007 ---
The garage is removed and the area is generally cleared.


--- End of May 2006 ---
The old parsonage and office is demolished.
